MaxStat - Inline Coolant Bypass Thermostat Option:
Heater performance is dependent on coolant temperature and flow through the heater core. When the engine cools, the radiator causes the engine thermostat to close, cutting off coolant flow to the heater core. The MaxStat addresses this by adding a secondary inline thermostat (180°F standard) to the vehicle’s coolant system, ensuring continuous coolant flow to the heater core. This eliminates the thermal cycling that affects most heaters on the market. A 192°F thermostat is also available upon request.

Ice Crusher Hose Clamp Off Pliers make heater installation faster and easier.
